Sometimes there are mornings that are just so. hard. that you’ll search everywhere and anywhere on the internets for a little pick-me-up. But this morning, WHEEWWW BOY. The greatness found us. In our inbox landed this pretty little sight—a brand spankin’ new image of Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin in the MAC Viva Glam spring 2012 campaign shot by David LaChapelle. But seriously, how awesome is this photo? The longer you stare at it, the more amazing it becomes. Nicki Minaj is crawling on a motorcycle in a hot pink low-cut latex dress (please note the creepy hand holding lipstick rigghhhttt around her slit area) while Ricky Martin is weight-lifting a GIANT lipstick above his head while wearing a sweat-stained gray tank top under a white and black leather motorcycle jacket. His expression reads both excited and slightly out of breath for a confusing mixture of sexy, fun, and sweaty all in one campaign image. Also, is that a giant blue finger in the corner? Just sayin’.
But we do have to say—Nicki’s beauty game is kiiinddaa out of control here. She’s sporting lime green eyeshadow on her upper lid with a bright blue liner underneath. Her nails actually match her dress and makeup for an all-out neon explosion that we can’t HELP but love. Also, we’re really into her imperfectly dyed pastel pink and blonde hair, and I mean, not only is this image UH-MAZING, but did you know you can actually benefit others by buying these products? I KNOW. Crazy. One hundred percent of the Viva Glam profits go to support the MAC AIDS fund, so be sure to look out for Ricky and Nicki’s products in February 2012!
